Who I am...

My name is Faith, and I am a redhead who is on this crazy journey towards Jesus. I am turning 31 this year, have been married for 10 of those (loving every minute of it!) and have two little boys that keep me very busy. For some crazy reason to which I am not privy to, God has me attending Seminary (Shout out to my fellow cohorts at Fox!). Hopefully I will earn a Masters of Divinity by 2011. We shall see. I dabble in art, because it fun and you get to get terribly messy. Pottery is the best…*giggle*… mud! I also like trying to grow things. I say try because I have a black thumb. I am no longer creating prayer stations for communal worship. That step in my journey is passed, although it may come up again someday. Right now I am playing with personal prayer through my hands. I contacted you late last summer about your creative prayer stations. I taught a small creative prayer workshop at my church last fall, mostly art oriented. Though it was a small group, it was well received but the best was the growth I experienced- in the confidence that this is part the direction I am being lead both as an art educator and a spiritual facilitator (I think I made a new term :) .)
I just wanted to thank you for your help & wish you Godspeed with your seminary work & your art.
